Evening primrose (Oenothea biennis)Native to North America, this plant gives twice a year wide yellow flowers and seeds from which the oil is extracted. This oil is very rich in unsatured fatty acids : gammalinolenic acid, linoleic acid and oleic acid. It is used above all for its antioxidizing action and its regulating action of the female hormones (gammalinolenic acid synthesizes E1 prostaglandin).
Traditionnal indications Wrinkles prevention, skin disorders (eczema, psoriasis and so on), female disorders preceding menstruation (nervousness, breast tension and so on), blood cholesterol level regulation and atherosclerosis prevention.
Presentation :
Evening primrose in 60 soft capsules dosed at 500 mg
Suggested use :
1 to 2 capsules a day or 1/2 teaspoon each day.
